A Uniquely Different Approach to Roofing Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF) provides a uniquely different approach to roofing. The system is lightweight, non-toxic and it’s durable and weather-resistant. Since roof tear-off is not always necessary, SPF reduces costs, noise and inconvenience during installation and allows for contours to create slope and drainage. SPF provides two layers of protection: 1. The first layer of spray-applied polyurethane foam provides a seamless, monolithic waterproof barrier with continuous flashings. SPF adheres to most vertical or horizontal substrates. 2. The second layer is a protective coating (Cementitious, Silicone, Urethane, Acrylic or Polyurea) The Benefits of SPF: - Time tested system developed in the late 1960s - Reflective, seamless, lightweight roof system - Excellent insulating ability in hot or cold climates (high R-value) to reduce energy costs - Reduces installation costs due to the ease of application - Reduces maintenance costs - Can improve indoor air quality by reducing infiltration of air pollutants - Eliminates ponding water and flashing leaks - Reduces building movement and thermal shock since insulation is on outside - Provides fire resistance with a Class A fire rating from UL, Inc. (Underwriters Laboratory, Inc.) on various substrates - Effective in cold climates (snow and ice), tropical climates (rain and high humidity), subtropical and desert climates (low humidity, intense solar radiation) - SPF is a renewable roof system with proper annual maintenance and consistent re-application of elastomeric coating during the life cycle of the roof system Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF) Roof System Layers CentiMark Systems topcoat with granules CentiMark’s Choice of topcoat finishes depending on use: - Cementitious Coating - Silicone Coating - Urethane Coating - Acrylic Coating - Polyurea Coating Uses for SPF: - For Roofing - For Insulation - For Cold Storage (Freezers & Containers) To contact CentiMark, please call: 800-558-4100 or visit: www.CentiMark.com CentiMark Systems topcoat without granules CentiMark Systems basecoat Polyurethane Foam insulation (Thickness = R Value) 1” of Foam = R Value of 7 Substrate: wood, metal, concrete, other CentiMark’s Omni Guard cementitious topcoat is an impact resistant material made up of white Portland cement and special resins that act as a walk pad over the entire roof surface and also provide a Class A fire rating.
